Iniziamo la nostra lista con una canzone, a mio parere, parecchio rappresentativa per i serpeverde. La caratteristica più famosa delle persone di questa casa è senz’altro l’essere ambiziosi. High Hopes parla proprio di questo: avere la consapevolezza di essere l’uno su un milione, sapere di essere destinati a qualcosa di più grande.

2. Applause- Lady Gaga

Nell’articolo dedicato ai tassorosso avevamo visto una sorta di controparte di Applause. Per i tassi, infatti, non è un problema restare in seconda fila al contrario delle altre case che forse accettano questa condizione un po’ restii. Non fraintendetemi, non sto dicendo che i serpeverde- così come le persone delle altre case- sono tutti dei megalomani (ci basti pensare a Lumacorno che, pur essendo un perfetto serpeverde, preferiva rimanere nelle retrovie) ma dobbiamo ammettere che piace a tutti essere lodati e avere i meritati applausi dopo tanto impegno e fatica.

3. Blank Space- Taylor Swift

Mettiamo subito le cose in chiaro: i serpeverde non sono dei maniaci che vi distruggeranno i vestiti e la macchina in caso di una rottura (non tutti almeno). Tuttavia penso che loro siano i più propensi a conoscere il loro valore e quindi a sapere quanto possono darvi. “O forse a Serpeverde, ragazzi miei, voi troverete gli amici migliori” sono i primi versi del cappello parlante per la casa verde-argento. Spesso si dimentica questo dettaglio, anche per colpa della saga in cui non abbiamo avuto esempi di grande amicizia tra i serpeverde, ma questo non vuol dire che, nella lunga vita di Hogwarts, non ce ne siano stati. Vi auguro davvero di avere un’amicizia così forte da sapere che niente potrà mai scalfirla e che alla fine, qualunque cosa accada, sarete sempre lì insieme.

Ogni rottura porta con sè delle conseguenze. Come abbiamo visto per le altre case, c’è chi urlerà tutto il suo dolore e chi invece ci si crogiolerà. Ognuno reagisce a modo proprio ovviamente, ma in questo caso dovremmo essere tutti un po’ serpeverde. Subito dopo una brutta rottura non dovremmo fare uno sforzo e ricordarci chi siamo? Possiamo ancora divertirci, non abbiamo bisogno di nessuno e se qualcuno ha avuto il coraggio di lasciarci, beh, quello che ci ha perso è lui.

Questa è la seconda canzone che, secondo me, è scritta per i serpeverde dalla prima all’ultima parola. L’ambizione è il motore giusto per farci rimboccare le maniche e lavorare sodo. Non ci serve niente se non noi stessi, possiamo fare tutto ciò che desideriamo, dedichiamoci ai nostri sogni e a fare di tutto per realizzarli e, col tempo, arriveremo in cima.

Mettere fine a una relazione non è una cosa semplice, anche se, a volte, è più che necessario. Stare con un’altra persona fa cambiare ma non bisogna mai permettere a nessuno di prendersi gioco di noi. Bisogna essere capaci di voltare pagina, sempre essendo consapevoli di quello che è stato, di quello che si è perso, e cominciare un nuovo capitolo.

Ammetto di non essere affatto stupita di aver trovato una canzone di Ariana Grande da mettere in questa lista. È risaputo che Ariana è una grande fan di Harry Potter e soprattutto vorrei ricordare che è stata smistata proprio in Serpeverde– se vuoi approfondire quest’argomento clicca qui!

Confesso che ero tentata di mettere questa canzone nella lista dei grifondoro ma poi ho cambiato idea: in fondo, come dice il prefetto dei serpeverde nella presentazione che puoi trovare qui, i grifondoro sono dei “serpeverde mancati”. Whatever it takes riprende un argomento che avevo già detto per altre canzoni: le serpi conoscono bene il loro valore, sanno di essere nati per qualcosa, per correre, per arrivare dove vogliono.

Finiamo la lista con il botto. Diciamocelo: chi è che non conosce We Are The Champions? Sappiamo tutti che, ormai, questa canzone è diventata l’inno dei vincitori e soprattutto di chi ce l’ha fatta.

Così si conclude la lista delle 10 canzoni da ascoltare se sei un serpeverde. Vorrei comunque precisare che aver messo delle canzoni qui, non vuol dire escludere tutte le altre case. La musica abbatte ogni barriera: la può ascoltare chiunque e la si può trovare dovunque: in una pubblicità o in un film- un esempio concreto puoi leggerlo qui con i film di Harry Potter.
